Typically, prediction markets like this one can offer different insights than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbook odds are set by professionals, often incorporating a ‘vig’ or commission. This market, however, is driven by the collective wisdom of traders, potentially leading to odds that more accurately reflect the true probability of an outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, risk assessments, or simply variations in public opinion. On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome of the Plakushchyi vs. Hrabskyi match. As more people buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. This dynamic pricing allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust expectations.

This market resolves around Oct 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
