If Montreal scores more goals in the third period (excluding overtime) than Pittsburgh, the market resolves to Montreal. If Pittsburgh scores more third-period goals, the market resolves to Pittsburgh. If both teams score equally in the third period, the market resolves to Tie. Should the game be postponed but commence within 48 hours of the scheduled start, the market remains active and resolves based on the official result. Cancellations or failures to start within 48 hours lead to a fair price resolution.
