Description

These markets track how many goals are scored in the third period of an NHL hockey game between Pittsburgh and Montreal. Each market has a different threshold for the total goals needed to settle the outcome. The markets only consider goals scored during regulation time of the third period, excluding any overtime play.

Kalshi

All three markets resolve based on the total number of goals scored by both teams combined in the third period of the Pittsburgh vs Montreal NHL game scheduled for October 31, 2026, with each market having a progressively higher threshold (more than 0.5, more than 1.5, or more than 2.5 goals) for a 'Yes' outcome. Importantly, these markets only count goals scored during regulation time in the third period and explicitly exclude any goals that might be scored in overtime. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of its original scheduled time, the markets remain active and resolve according to the final official result of that game. However, if the game is cancelled or fails to start within the 48-hour window, all markets resolve to a fair price, meaning they are settled equitably rather than strictly on the stated conditions.
