Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both Polymarket and Kalshi resolve based on the official match outcome after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 19, 2026, with identical handling of postponements and cancellations.
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics from Lega Serie A (Italian Serie A governing body) or credible reporting consensus if official statistics are not published within 2 hours of match conclusion.
Core resolution logic:
Exactly one of three mutually exclusive outcomes will occur: Pisa SC wins, Genoa CFC wins, or the match ends in a draw.
Pisa SC win market resolves YES if Pisa scores more goals than Genoa after 90 minutes plus stoppage time; otherwise NO.
Genoa CFC win market resolves YES if Genoa scores more goals than Pisa after 90 minutes plus stoppage time; otherwise NO.
Draw market resolves YES if both teams have equal goals after 90 minutes plus stoppage time; otherwise NO.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game, Pisa and Genoa win markets resolve NO, and the draw market resolves YES.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, all three markets remain open and unresolved until the rescheduled match is completed. Resolution then occurs based on the actual match outcome.
Match Cancellation Without Makeup: If the match is canceled entirely with no makeup game scheduled, the Pisa win and Genoa win markets resolve NO, while the draw market resolves YES.
Resolution Source Hierarchy: Primary source is official Lega Serie A statistics. If official statistics are not published within 2 hours of match conclusion, resolution uses consensus from credible sports reporting sources.
Scope: Regular Time Only: Resolution is based exclusively on the outcome after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shootouts are excluded from resolution.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official publication of the final match result by Lega Serie A, or within 2 hours after match conclusion via credible reporting consensus if official statistics are delayed.
