Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, aiming to profit regardless of the outcome. This market, however, reflects the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the result. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, this market can quickly adjust to incorporate new information and differing opinions. Discrepancies between prediction market probabilities and sportsbook odds can sometimes present opportunities for informed traders.

As more traders participate and express their views, the price fluctuates, providing a dynamic assessment of the event's likelihood. This creates a market-driven probability, distinct from static odds offered elsewhere. The current price reflects the aggregated intelligence of all traders involved.
