Prediction market odds, such as those found in this market, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the nature of how they are determined. Sportsbooks set odds based on their own models and incorporate a profit margin, while prediction markets are driven by the collective predictions of traders. This can lead to more accurate probabilities, as the market harnesses the knowledge of many individuals. However, factors like liquidity and differing levels of public information can also cause discrepancies between the two. It’s common to see prediction markets react faster to new information than sportsbooks.
