Description

This market focuses on determining which team will score more runs specifically during the 8th inning of an upcoming baseball game between Philadelphia and Seattle. It provides a narrow window of analysis, concentrating only on the offensive performance of each team during that particular inning.

Kalshi

The market resolves based on the number of runs scored by each team specifically during the 8th inning of the Philadelphia vs Seattle professional baseball game scheduled for August 26, 2026. If Philadelphia scores more runs than Seattle in that inning, the 'Philadelphia wins 8th inning' market resolves to Yes. Conversely, if Seattle scores more runs than Philadelphia, the 'Seattle wins 8th inning' market resolves to Yes. Should neither team score more runs than the other—or if both teams score the same number of runs—the 'Tie 8th inning' market resolves to Yes. Importantly, only runs scored during the 8th inning are considered for resolution. If the game is called or ends before the completion of the 8th inning, all markets will resolve to a Fair Price. The outcome is strictly tied to offensive output within the specified inning, with no consideration given to earlier or later innings' events.
