PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Predict use identical resolution criteria, focusing on second-half goals and specifying the same fallback data sources.Primary resolution logic: Official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers (MLS).

Core resolution logic:

  • The team scoring more goals in the second half (including stoppage time) wins.
  • If both teams score the same number of goals in the second half, the market resolves to a draw.
  • Postponement results in the market remaining open until the match is completed.
  • Cancellation results in the market resolving to a draw.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • No Goals in Second Half: If no goals are scored in the second half, the market will resolve to a draw.
  • Data Source Unavailability: If official statistics are unavailable within 2 hours, Flashscore will be used. If Flashscore is unavailable, Sofascore will be used. If neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting will be used.
Timing: Resolution will occur after the completion of the second half (including stoppage time) and once official match statistics are available, within 24 hours of the event's conclusion. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.
