This prediction market asks for the exact final score of a Major League Soccer (MLS) match between the Philadelphia Union and Real Salt Lake, played to the end of regulation time plus stoppage time. Any outcome not explicitly listed will resolve to 'Any Other Score'.
In the upcoming MLS game between Philadelphia Union and Real Salt Lake, scheduled for October 10, 2026 at 7:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Philadelphia Union vs. Real Salt Lake match originally scheduled for October 10, 2026 at 7:30 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Predict, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the underlying mechanisms. Sportsbooks set odds to ensure profitability, incorporating a margin, while prediction markets are driven by the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to accurately forecast the outcome. This can lead to more efficient price discovery in prediction markets. However, sportsbook odds are influenced by factors like public betting patterns and risk management, which can create discrepancies. This market, specifically, may show differences reflecting varying levels of information and analysis among participants on each platform.
Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Prices on Polymarket and Predict may diverge due to differences in user base, trading activity, and market-specific rules. Each platform attracts a different demographic of traders with varying expertise and risk tolerance. Furthermore, the volume traded on each platform can influence price volatility and liquidity. If one platform experiences significantly higher volume, its prices may be more responsive to new information. It’s also possible that differing interpretations of available data or news regarding team form, injuries, or tactical approaches contribute to the price discrepancies observed in this market.
