This group forecasts which golfers will finish in the Top 10 at the 2026 World Wide Technology Championship. Each individual market asks whether a specific player will achieve this result, including ties. Resolution depends on the official results published by the PGA Tour.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed player finishes in the top 10 at the 2026 World Wide Technology Championship tournament, including ties. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If final results are not announced by November 14, 2026 at 7:00PM ET this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be the official results published by the PGA Tour website (https://www.pgatour.com/).
All markets resolve based on whether the named golfer finishes in the top 10 (including ties) of the 2026 World Wide Technology Championship. If a golfer withdraws or does not participate, the market resolves to "Fair Market Price" if the withdrawal occurs before teeing off, and to "No" if after teeing off. These rules apply uniformly across all markets, with no additional distinctions between individual golfer markets.
Prediction market odds, like those found in this market, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the differing incentives of participants. Sportsbooks aim to profit by setting lines that attract balanced betting, while prediction market traders are incentivized to accurately forecast the outcome. This can lead to prediction markets reflecting a more accurate probability assessment, especially as more information becomes available. However, sportsbook odds are readily accessible and often influence initial trading in prediction markets. Both offer valuable insights, but understanding their fundamental differences is key to interpreting the odds effectively.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Prices on Polymarket and Kalshi can diverge for several reasons. These platforms have different user bases, trading volumes, and fee structures, all of which can influence price discovery. Furthermore, the information available to traders on each platform may vary, leading to differing interpretations of a golfer’s potential performance. Currently, Polymarket currently favors Will Chandler Blanchet at 99, while Kalshi leans toward Christiaan Bezuidenhout. These differences reflect the unique dynamics of each market and the collective beliefs of their respective traders.
This market resolves around Nov 22, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final leaderboard of the World Wide Technology Championship is verifiable from credible public reporting. The market will determine which golfers actually finished within the Top 10 based on their official tournament scores. This is a straightforward outcome based on publicly available data, ensuring a transparent and verifiable resolution process. Traders should monitor the event's progress and official results as the tournament nears its conclusion.
Several signals could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding golfer injuries, changes in form, or weather forecasts affecting tournament conditions could shift probabilities. Unexpected performance in preceding tournaments, or even comments from the golfers themselves, could also influence trading activity. Major announcements related to the tournament, such as course modifications or changes to the event schedule, might also cause price fluctuations. Monitoring these factors will be crucial for traders looking to capitalize on shifts in market sentiment before Nov 22, 2026.
