On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in whether a golfer will make the cut. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome. As more traders buy shares, the price increases, reflecting a higher perceived chance of success, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price is driven entirely by supply and demand, with traders adjusting their positions based on news, performance data, and their own analysis of the field.
This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the official results of the Butterfield Bermuda Championship are verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on whether each golfer listed in this market successfully makes the cut after the second round of play. The platform will verify the official cut line and determine which golfers meet the criteria for a successful outcome in this market. The results will be based on official PGA Tour data and standings.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Any news regarding a golfer’s health, form, or potential withdrawal would likely cause price fluctuations. Changes in weather conditions at Port Royal Golf Course, particularly wind or rain, could also impact performance and shift probabilities. Live performance during the first round of the tournament will be a major catalyst, as strong or weak starts will quickly be reflected in the market. Finally, any late-breaking information about course conditions or player strategies could also move prices as traders react to new data.
