On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each golfer’s probability of leading after the second round. As more shares are purchased for a particular golfer, the price of those shares increases, indicating a higher implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movement is driven by supply and demand, reflecting the collective predictions of all participants. This dynamic pricing allows for a constantly updated assessment of each player's chances.
This market resolves around Oct 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the golfer who holds the lowest score after the completion of the second round of the Baycurrent Classic will be declared the leader. The official leaderboard from the PGA Tour will serve as the basis for determining the winning outcome for this market. No further information about resolution is available.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. A golfer’s performance during the first round of the Baycurrent Classic will be a major catalyst, with strong showings likely to increase their share price. Unexpected weather conditions, such as strong winds or rain, could also influence the odds, favoring players known for their resilience. Any news regarding player injuries or withdrawals would also cause substantial shifts in the market, as traders reassess the probabilities for the remaining competitors.
