On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each golfer becoming the second-round leader. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust to reflect the collective assessment of the field. The market is highly liquid, allowing for efficient price discovery and enabling traders to quickly enter or exit positions.
This market resolves around Oct 4, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official leaderboard following the completion of the second round of the Bank of Utah Championship. The golfer at the top of the leaderboard at that time will be declared the winner of this market. The platform will verify the result against official sources to ensure accuracy and transparency.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Any news regarding a golfer's health, form, or playing conditions—such as a reported injury or a particularly strong performance in practice rounds—could cause shifts in the odds. Weather forecasts also play a role, as challenging conditions could favor certain players. Finally, early performance during the first round of the Bank of Utah Championship will be a major catalyst, as strong or weak starts will quickly impact traders’ assessments of each golfer’s chances.
