Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a more accurate aggregate forecast than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks may incorporate biases or seek to profit from public perception, whereas this market incentivizes participants to express their true beliefs. If sportsbook odds significantly differ from those seen on Polymarket, it could indicate a disagreement between professional oddsmakers and the wisdom of the crowd. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, and discrepancies can arise due to differing information or analytical approaches. It's useful to compare them to assess where the market finds value.
