Sportsbooks set odds based on their own analysis and incorporate a profit margin, while this market is driven by traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. Therefore, you may observe differences between the probabilities implied by the odds on Polymarket and those offered by sportsbooks. These discrepancies can arise from differing information, biases, or simply the collective judgment of market participants.
