Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, ensuring profit regardless of the outcome. This market, however, is driven purely by the collective wisdom of traders, aiming to accurately predict the probability of each outcome. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, prediction markets can quickly adjust based on new information and diverse opinions, potentially offering a more accurate assessment of the event's likelihood. It's common to see discrepancies between the two.
