On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a particular outcome. As more shares are purchased for a specific outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher implied probability. Conversely, selling shares lowers the price. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the perceived chance of that outcome occurring, allowing traders to express their views and profit if their predictions prove accurate. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date collective intelligence.
This market resolves around Oct 20, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Peretiatko vs. Khandetskyi match, as determined by the governing sporting body. The platform will verify the result against reliable sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be entitled to a payout, while those holding shares in the losing outcome will forfeit their investment. The precise timing of resolution may vary slightly depending on the availability of official results.
