In the upcoming Ligue 2 game between Pau FC and Stade Lavallois Mayenne FC, scheduled for October 9, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Pau FC vs. Stade Lavallois Mayenne FC match originally scheduled for October 9, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on traders directly expressing their beliefs about the likelihood of each exact score. If many traders believe a specific outcome is more probable than a sportsbook suggests, the price for that outcome will decrease, indicating higher implied probability. It's common to see discrepancies, especially when public opinion strongly diverges from the sportsbook's initial assessment.
This market resolves around Oct 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Pau FC vs. Stade Lavallois match, as reported by a recognized sports data provider, will determine the winning outcome. The exact score at the end of regulation time will be used to determine the settlement of this market. Traders holding shares in the correct exact score will be paid out according to the final market price at resolution.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in coaching staff for either Pau FC or Stade Lavallois could significantly shift trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also play a role, potentially affecting the style of play and the final score. Furthermore, any updates on player form or tactical approaches leading up to the game could cause price fluctuations as traders adjust their predictions. Major shifts in public opinion, reflected in sports news and analysis, can also move this market.
