On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's liquidity, indicated by the trading volume, also influences price discovery. Higher volume generally leads to more accurate and efficient pricing.
This market resolves around Oct 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final result of the Patro Eisden Maasmechelen vs. Jong KRC Genk second half – whether Patro Eisden wins, Jong KRC Genk wins, or the half ends in a draw – will be used to determine the winning shares. Several signals or events could significantly move this market before resolution. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in coaching staff could impact trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions on match day might also influence the perceived probabilities. Furthermore, in-game events during the first half, such as early goals or red cards, could lead to rapid shifts in the market as traders adjust their predictions based on the evolving situation. Overall match form and recent performances of both teams will continue to be important factors.
