In the upcoming match between Parma Calcio 1913 and Bologna FC 1909, scheduled for November 7, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET: This market will resolve to "Parma Calcio 1913" if Parma Calcio 1913 are the first to score in the first half (first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time). This market will resolve to "Bologna FC 1909" if Bologna FC 1909 are the first to score in the first half (first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time). If neither team scores in the first half (first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time), this market will resolve to "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time. Second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Serie A (https://www.legaseriea.it/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven by traders directly expressing their beliefs. If a significant discrepancy exists, it might indicate that the market believes a sportsbook is undervaluing or overvaluing a particular outcome. However, it's important to remember that both represent probabilities, and neither is guaranteed to be correct. This comparison can be a useful tool for informed decision-making.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where users buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more people buy shares in a particular team to score first, the price of those shares increases, and the implied probability rises. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current implied probability of Parma Calcio 1913 scoring first in the first half is 48.5%, reflecting the collective assessment of traders on the platform.
This market resolves around Nov 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the market will determine which team, Parma Calcio 1913 or Bologna FC 1909, scores the first goal during the first half of the match. The result will be based on official match data and verified against credible public sources. The platform will then distribute payouts to those who correctly predicted the first team to score in the first half.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, particularly to key attacking players, could significantly shift the odds. Unexpected changes in weather conditions, such as heavy rain or strong winds, might also impact the perceived likelihood of either team scoring. Furthermore, pre-match analysis from reputable sports analysts and any late-breaking team news could all contribute to price movements. A shift in public sentiment, even without concrete news, can also drive trading volume and alter the probabilities in this market.
