In the upcoming Ligue 1 game between Paris Saint-Germain FC and Olympique Lyonnais, scheduled for October 25, 2026 at 3:45 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Paris Saint-Germain FC vs. Olympique Lyonnais match originally scheduled for October 25, 2026 at 3:45 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from sportsbook odds, which are often set by experts and may be influenced by factors like house bias or promotional offers. Sportsbooks often adjust their lines based on betting action, but prediction markets tend to incorporate a broader range of information and perspectives. It’s common to see discrepancies, particularly before significant events or when there’s a lot of uncertainty surrounding the outcome of this market. Comparing the two can offer valuable insights into public versus expert opinion.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different exact scores. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, creating a dynamic probability distribution. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders are essentially expressing their beliefs about the likelihood of each score, and these beliefs are aggregated to form the overall market price. The more a particular outcome is bought, the higher its price, and the lower its implied probability. This mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust accordingly.
This market resolves around Oct 26, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official score of the Paris Saint-Germain FC versus Olympique Lyonnais match will determine the winning contract. Any changes or official adjustments to the score after the match’s completion will be considered in determining the resolution. The platform will verify the result against widely available and trustworthy sources to ensure accuracy and fairness for all participants in this market.
Several factors could significantly impact this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either PSG or Lyon would likely cause shifts in the odds. Tactical announcements from either manager, such as confirmed starting lineups or changes in formation, could also influence trading activity. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also play a role. Finally, any significant pre-match analysis from reputable sports commentators or analysts could sway market sentiment and lead to price movements in this market.
