In the upcoming match between Paris Saint-Germain FC and ES Troyes AC, scheduled for November 7, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET: This market will resolve to "Paris Saint-Germain FC" if Paris Saint-Germain FC are the first to score in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time). This market will resolve to "ES Troyes AC" if ES Troyes AC are the first to score in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time). If neither team scores in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time), this market will resolve to "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to goals scored within the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time. First-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Ligue 1 (https://www.ligue1.com/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market represents the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to accurately forecast the outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists between the implied probability on Polymarket and sportsbook odds, it could indicate that traders believe the sportsbook is mispricing the event or that new information hasn’t yet been fully incorporated into the sportsbook’s lines. It's a useful comparison point for informed decision-making.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust accordingly, creating a dynamic and responsive forecast. Currently, Paris Saint-Germain FC scoring first in the second half has a chance percentage of 47.0%.
This market resolves around Nov 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the market will determine which team—Paris Saint-Germain FC or ES Troyes AC—scores the first goal in the second half of the match. The result will be based on official match data and verified against credible public sources. The platform will then finalize the outcome and distribute payouts to those who correctly predicted the first team to score in the second half.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before Nov 7, 2026. Any news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Paris Saint-Germain FC or ES Troyes AC would likely have a significant impact. Changes in team formations or tactical approaches announced before the match could also shift trader sentiment. Even the weather conditions on match day, or unexpected news about team morale, could cause the market to react. Ultimately, any information that alters perceptions of each team’s scoring potential could move the odds.
