In the upcoming match between Paris Saint-Germain FC and ES Troyes AC, scheduled for November 7, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET: This market will resolve to "Paris Saint-Germain FC" if Paris Saint-Germain FC are the first to score in the first half (first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time). This market will resolve to "ES Troyes AC" if ES Troyes AC are the first to score in the first half (first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time). If neither team scores in the first half (first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time), this market will resolve to "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time. Second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Ligue 1 (https://www.ligue1.com/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market allows anyone to trade based on their own insights. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook has mispriced a team’s chances, the odds on Polymarket will adjust accordingly. It’s common to see prediction markets converge towards what many consider the 'true' probability of an event occurring, potentially offering different value than traditional betting options.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in whether Paris Saint-Germain FC or ES Troyes AC will score first in the first half. As more shares are purchased for a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher perceived probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring, allowing traders to express their views and profit if their predictions prove accurate. The current top outcome, Paris Saint-Germain FC, has a chance percentage of 48.5%.
This market resolves around Nov 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the market will determine which team, Paris Saint-Germain FC or ES Troyes AC, scored the first goal during the first half of the match. The result will be based on official match data and verified against reliable sports news sources. The platform will then automatically settle the market, distributing payouts to traders holding shares in the winning outcome.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, particularly to key attacking players for either Paris Saint-Germain FC or ES Troyes AC, would likely cause significant price movement. Changes in weather conditions, such as heavy rain or strong winds, could also affect the perceived likelihood of a quick goal. Finally, pre-match analysis and expert opinions released in the hours leading up to kickoff could sway trader sentiment and impact the odds on Polymarket.
