This event group concerns the outcome of a professional basketball game between Paris Basketball and Chalon/Saone, scheduled for November 1, 2026. The markets resolve based on which team wins the game, with potential for a 50-50 split if the game is canceled or abandoned without a result.
In the upcoming Pro A game between Paris Basketball and Chalon/Saone, originally scheduled for Sunday, November 1, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET (as of creation of the first market related to the event): If the Paris Basketball win, the market will resolve to "Paris Basketball". If the Chalon/Saone win, the market will resolve to "Chalon/Saone". If this market's outcome was definitively determined under its rules by the listed resolution sources before abandonment, that outcome will stand. Otherwise, the following no-result provisions apply. If the game is canceled, does not start by Tuesday, November 3, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or is abandoned with no official result by that time, this market will resolve 50-50. The result will be determined based on the final score including any overtime periods.
The event resolves based on the winner of the men's professional LNB Elite basketball game between Elan Chalon and Paris Basketball, scheduled for November 1, 2026, at 1:00 PM EST. If the game is postponed but commences within 48 hours of the original start time, the market remains open and resolves according to the official result. Should the game be cancelled or fail to start within this 48-hour window, all markets resolve to a fair price. The markets are independent of any official endorsement from the governing league, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Kalshi, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the mechanisms behind price discovery. Sportsbooks set odds based on their own models and incorporate a profit margin, while prediction markets rely on the collective intelligence of traders. This market's pricing reflects what participants believe the probability of each outcome to be, creating a more dynamic and potentially more accurate assessment. Furthermore, prediction markets allow participants to take either side of a bet, whereas sportsbooks primarily act as intermediaries. This can lead to differing valuations.
