On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe an outcome is likely, the higher the share price will climb, and conversely, the price will fall if confidence wanes. This dynamic pricing allows for a constantly updated assessment of probabilities.
This market resolves around Oct 21, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Panasenko vs. Kovalenko match, as determined by the governing sports organization. This ensures a transparent and objective determination of the winning outcome. Traders will be able to claim their winnings or fulfill their obligations based on the final, verified result.
Several factors could influence the price movement of this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in coaching strategies, or unexpected performance in preceding matches could shift trader sentiment. Publicly released analysis from sports commentators or analysts could also impact the market, especially if it challenges prevailing assumptions. Finally, large volume trades from informed participants could signal new information or a change in outlook, causing a noticeable price adjustment.
