If a significant number of traders believe a particular outcome is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will adjust accordingly. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before a lot of money has been traded, as prediction markets can sometimes incorporate information faster than sportsbooks. These differences can present opportunities for informed traders.
