Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective wisdom of traders, aims to reflect the true probability of an outcome. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, this market dynamically adjusts as new information and opinions emerge. It's common to see divergences between the two, potentially offering value to informed bettors who can identify discrepancies.
