Description

This market refers to the Overwatch Lower Bracket Semifinal match between ZANSIDE GAMING and O2 Blast in the OCS Korea Stage 3 Last Chance Qualifier, initially scheduled for October 30, 2026 at 11:00 AM ET. This market will resolve to "ZANSIDE GAMING" if ZANSIDE GAMING win the match against O2 Blast. This market will resolve to "O2 Blast" if O2 Blast win the match against ZANSIDE GAMING. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before November 13, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 30, 2026 at 11:00 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/overwatch/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/overwatch/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Frequently asked questions

Often, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own analysis and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. If a significant number of traders believe one team is more likely to win than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will shift accordingly. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially when public opinion strongly diverges from expert analysis.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting growing confidence. Conversely, selling pressure drives the price down. This dynamic pricing ensures the market odds are constantly updated based on the latest information and collective intelligence.

This market resolves around Oct 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official results of the Overwatch Champions Series (OCS) Korea Stage 3 Last Chance Qualifier match between ZANSIDE GAMING and O2 Blast. The winning team, as determined by the best-of-five series, will dictate the settlement of this market. The platform will verify the results against publicly available sources to ensure accuracy.

Several factors could influence the odds in this market. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or unexpected roster changes for either ZANSIDE GAMING or O2 Blast could significantly shift market sentiment. Major upsets in other qualifying matches, or even announcements about patch updates to the game itself, could also impact trader behavior. Furthermore, any public statements from team members or analysts offering predictions could contribute to price movements on Polymarket.
