This market refers to the Overwatch match between Poker Face and T1 in the OCS Korea Stage 3 Regular Season, initially scheduled for October 9, 2026 at 5:30 AM ET. This market will resolve to "Poker Face" if Poker Face win the match against T1. This market will resolve to "T1" if T1 win the match against Poker Face. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before October 23, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 9, 2026 at 5:30 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/overwatch/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/overwatch/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to express their own independent assessments of the teams' strengths. If there's a significant discrepancy, it may indicate that the market believes a sportsbook has mispriced the probability of a particular outcome. However, it's important to note that both types of odds represent probabilities, and differences can arise due to varying information and analytical approaches.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting growing confidence. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds are constantly updated based on the collective intelligence of the participants, offering a real-time assessment of the potential results.
This market resolves around Oct 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official results of the Overwatch Korea OCS Stage 3 Regular Season match between Poker Face and T1. The team declared the winner by the official tournament organizers will determine the winning outcome for this market. Any disputes will be resolved based on publicly available information from the event’s official sources.
Several factors could influence the odds in this market. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or unexpected roster changes for either Poker Face or T1 could significantly shift trader sentiment. In-game performance during the series itself, such as a dominant early victory by one team, could also cause rapid price adjustments. Additionally, any widely circulated analysis from Overwatch esports experts or prominent community figures could impact how traders assess the teams’ chances of winning this important match.
