Description

These markets track how many goals are scored in the second period of an NHL hockey game between Ottawa and Vegas. Each market has a different threshold for the total goals needed to pay out, with higher thresholds requiring more scoring. The outcomes depend on the official game result, accounting for possible postponements or cancellations.

Kalshi

All three markets resolve based on the total number of goals scored by both teams combined in the second period of the Ottawa vs Vegas NHL game scheduled for October 27, 2026. Each market has a specific threshold: over 0.5 goals, over 1.5 goals, and over 2.5 goals. If the cumulative goals exceed the respective threshold, the market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. Postponements that occur within 48 hours of the original start time do not affect resolution, as the market remains open and resolves based on the final official result when the game is played. If the game is cancelled or fails to start within 48 hours of its scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price, ensuring equitable treatment for all participants. Overtime goals in the third period are excluded from consideration for these second-period-specific markets.
