Description

These markets evaluate how many goals are scored in the first period of an NHL hockey game between Ottawa and San Jose. Each market corresponds to a different threshold of goals, determining whether the combined score exceeds that threshold. The outcomes depend solely on the official game result, with specific handling for postponements or cancellations.

Kalshi

The markets assess whether Ottawa and San Jose collectively score more than specified thresholds of goals in the first period of their NHL game scheduled for October 31, 2026. Each market resolves to 'Yes' if the total goals in the first period exceed the stated threshold—0.5, 1.5, or 2.5 goals. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the final result. If the game is cancelled or does not start within 48 hours, all markets resolve to a fair price. Overtime goals in the third period are excluded from consideration, though this event specifically focuses only on the first period.
