This set of markets determines which team dominates the first period by a margin greater than 1.5 goals. The result depends entirely on the scoring difference between the two teams during the initial segment of the match.

Kalshi

Markets resolve if either Ottawa or Los Angeles wins the first period of the NHL game by more than 1.5 goals, in the game scheduled for Oct 29, 2026. As with other markets, if the game is postponed but begins within 48 hours, markets stay open and resolve based on the official result. Cancellation or failure to start within 48 hours leads to a fair price resolution. Third period overtime does not influence these outcomes.
