On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, the price increases, reflecting a growing expectation of its likelihood. Conversely, selling pressure drives the price down. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds continually adjust to incorporate new information and changing sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 20, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Osadchyi vs. Volynets match, as reported by recognized sports authorities. The platform will verify the result against these sources to determine the winning outcome and distribute payouts to share holders accordingly. Traders should monitor official sources for updates as the resolution date approaches, as any delays or disputes could affect the timing of the settlement.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding the players’ form, injuries, or changes to their coaching strategies could shift expectations. Unexpected announcements about match conditions, such as venue changes or weather forecasts, might also have an impact. Public sentiment, reflected in media coverage and social media discussions, can also play a role, particularly if it indicates a significant shift in perceived probabilities. Ultimately, any information that alters the assessment of either player's chances of winning could cause the market to move.
