In the upcoming Brazil Serie B game between Operário Ferroviário EC and Botafogo FC, scheduled for October 7, 2026 at 6:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Operário Ferroviário EC vs. Botafogo FC match originally scheduled for October 7, 2026 at 6:30 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance betting action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market allows traders to directly express their beliefs about the probability of each exact score. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by betting on both the prediction market and a sportsbook. However, it’s important to remember that prediction markets are often more accurate at forecasting event outcomes than traditional polls or analysts.
This market resolves around Oct 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Operário vs. Botafogo match will determine the winning outcome. The market will settle to 100% probability for the correct exact score and 0% for all other possibilities. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will receive a payout equivalent to their share size, while those holding shares in losing outcomes will forfeit their investment. The resolution process is designed to be transparent and based on publicly available data.
Several factors could influence the probabilities in this market before the match concludes. Any news regarding player injuries, suspensions, or changes in team lineups would likely cause significant shifts. Unexpected weather conditions at the match venue could also impact the outcome and influence trading activity. Furthermore, in-game events, such as early goals or red cards, could lead to rapid price adjustments as traders react to the unfolding situation. Overall team form and recent performance are also key signals that traders will weigh when assessing the likelihood of different exact scores.
