In the upcoming Ligue 1 game between Olympique Lyonnais and OGC Nice, scheduled for October 18, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the Olympique Lyonnais vs. OGC Nice match originally scheduled for October 18, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, reflecting their profit margin. This market, however, is driven purely by the collective predictions of traders, potentially leading to odds that more accurately reflect the true probabilities of different outcomes. While sportsbooks might initially set odds based on team statistics and expert analysis, this market dynamically adjusts as new information and opinions emerge from traders.
This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score at the end of the first half of the Olympique Lyonnais versus OGC Nice match will determine the winning contract. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the governing football league and reported by widely recognized sports news sources. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the outcome.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Olympique Lyonnais or OGC Nice would likely cause significant shifts in the odds. Changes in team formations or tactical approaches announced before the match could also impact trader sentiment. Even weather conditions on the day of the game, such as heavy rain or strong winds, might be considered by traders when assessing the potential for a low-scoring first half, potentially moving the market.
