Description

This prediction market asks users to forecast which team, Olympique de Marseille or Toulouse FC, will win the second half of a Ligue 1 soccer match, or if the second half will end in a draw. Resolution is based on goals scored in the second half, including stoppage time.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Predict utilize identical resolution criteria, focusing solely on second-half goals and establishing a clear fallback data source hierarchy.Primary resolution logic: Official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers.

Core resolution logic:

  • Olympique de Marseille wins if they score more goals than Toulouse FC in the second half.
  • Toulouse FC wins if they score more goals than Olympique de Marseille in the second half.
  • The market resolves to 'Draw' if both teams score the same number of goals in the second half.
  • If the game is postponed, the market remains open until the game is completed.
  • If the game is canceled, the market resolves to 'Draw'.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • No Goals in Second Half: If both teams score zero goals in the second half, the market resolves to 'Draw'.
  • Data Source Availability: If official statistics are unavailable within 2 hours, Flashscore is used. If Flashscore is unavailable, Sofascore is used. If neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting is used.
  • Postponement/Cancellation: Postponement suspends the market. Cancellation resolves to 'Draw'.
Timing: Resolution occurs once the second half (including any added stoppage time) has concluded and the official result is available, but no later than 24 hours after the event's conclusion, at which point a 50-50 (or Draw where applicable) resolution will occur. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.
