Frequently asked questions

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven purely by traders’ beliefs. It's common to see discrepancies, particularly when public sentiment strongly deviates from the sportsbook's initial assessment. Comparing the odds can reveal where the market believes sportsbooks may be over or underestimating the probability of certain outcomes in this match.

This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official, final first-half score of the Olympique de Marseille versus Le Havre AC match. Any potential delays in official reporting could affect the resolution timeline, but the platform will aim for a swift and accurate determination based on publicly available data. The outcome will be the exact score at the end of the first half.

Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Olympique de Marseille or Le Havre AC would likely cause significant shifts. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they favor one team’s playing style, could also impact the odds. Even pre-match analysis from respected football commentators or unexpected lineup announcements could move the market as traders react to new information and adjust their predictions. Any significant events leading up to kickoff have the potential to alter the perceived probabilities.
