These markets evaluate how many points Ole Miss and Vanderbilt will score together in the fourth quarter of their college football game on October 10, 2026. Each market has a different threshold for the total points needed to settle the outcome.
All markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams during the fourth quarter (excluding overtime) of the Ole Miss vs Vanderbilt college football game scheduled for October 10, 2026. For any market, if the combined score exceeds the specified threshold, it resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price. Points from overtime periods do not count toward any market outcome.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to trade based on their own analysis. If a large number of traders believe a particular outcome is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the price will move accordingly. It's common to see discrepancies, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts closer to game time.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts. The price of a contract represents the probability of the event occurring. For example, a price of 60 means a contract costs 60 dollars, and implies a 60% probability of the outcome happening. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders are constantly adjusting their bids and asks based on their beliefs, creating a dynamic and real-time assessment of the likely total points in the fourth quarter of the Ole Miss vs Vanderbilt game.
This market resolves around Oct 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the final score of the fourth quarter of the Ole Miss vs Vanderbilt game will be used to determine whether the market resolves in favor of the 'over' or 'under' the implied total. The official game statistics will serve as the basis for verifying the final result and settling all outstanding contracts.
Several factors could influence this market before it resolves. Late-breaking news regarding key player injuries for either Ole Miss or Vanderbilt would likely cause significant movement. Changes in weather forecasts, especially if they suggest a high-scoring or low-scoring game, could also impact trading activity. Additionally, any significant shifts in public perception or expert analysis regarding the teams’ offensive capabilities could drive the price of contracts up or down as traders react to new information.
