Sportsbooks establish lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market represents the collective beliefs of individuals trading contracts. You may find that this market incorporates information not fully reflected in traditional sportsbook lines, potentially leading to different probabilities assigned to each team winning the second half. It’s a fascinating comparison to observe.
