Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Prices on Polymarket and Kalshi can diverge due to several factors. Each platform has a different user base with varying levels of expertise and information, leading to differing opinions. Trading volume also plays a role; lower volume on one platform can result in greater price swings. Furthermore, the platforms may have different fee structures or liquidity provisions, influencing trading behavior. While both platforms track the same event – the Old Dominion vs. Central Michigan game – these factors contribute to the observed price discrepancies.
This market resolves around Nov 2, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will be determined by the official result of the Old Dominion vs. Central Michigan game, as reported by a recognized sports data provider. The market will settle to reflect which outcome occurred, ensuring a clear and objective resolution. Traders should monitor official sources for updates as the game progresses, as this will ultimately determine the final payout for this market.
Several signals could significantly impact this market before Nov 2, 2026. Any news regarding injuries to key players on either the Old Dominion or Central Michigan teams would likely cause price fluctuations. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if they significantly impact playing conditions, could also move the market. Unexpected news about team morale, coaching changes, or even significant shifts in public perception could influence trading activity. Increased volume, currently at $107,888, often indicates heightened interest and potential price swings, so monitoring trading activity is also crucial.
