Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often diverging from initial sportsbook lines as new information becomes available. Sportsbooks set initial odds based on their own analysis, while this market allows anyone to trade on their beliefs, leading to a potentially more accurate assessment. If there’s significant disagreement between the two, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by simultaneously betting on both. However, it's important to remember that both represent probabilities and are subject to change based on evolving circumstances and public perception of the Olbia doubles match.

The price of these shares fluctuates based on supply and demand, effectively creating a real-time probability assessment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The closer the match gets, the more sensitive the price becomes to new information, such as player form or injury updates. The current price reflects the collective judgment of all traders participating in this market, providing a dynamic and potentially insightful view of the likely result.
