This market tracks whether specific players from both teams achieve a double-double in an upcoming NBA game. A double-double means a player records at least 10 in two of five key statistical categories—points, rebounds, assists, steals, or blocks—during the game. The outcome depends on individual player performance rather than the overall game result.
The event resolves to Yes if any of the five specified players—Stephon Castle, Isaiah Hartenstein, Chet Holmgren, Victor Wembanyama, or Shai Gilgeous-Alexander—records a double-double in the Oklahoma City vs San Antonio Pro Basketball game scheduled for October 20, 2026. A double-double is defined as reaching 10 or more in any two of the five main statistical categories: points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks, within a single game. If a player is listed as inactive or enters the game but never takes the court, the market settles to a fair price. Once a player enters the game, resolution is based solely on whether they achieve a double-double. Should the game be postponed but start within 48 hours of the original scheduled time, markets remain open and resolve based on the final official result. If the game is canceled or fails to start within 48 hours of its scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price. Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from those set by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks establish initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, aiming to balance betting action. This market, however, allows individuals to trade based on their own insights, leading to odds that can diverge from sportsbook offerings as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts. While sportsbooks may adjust lines based on betting patterns, prediction markets continuously update prices based on the collective actions of all participants.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous double auction. Traders buy and sell contracts representing potential outcomes, and the price of each contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy contracts for a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market price represents the collective belief of all participants regarding the likelihood of a double-double being achieved in the Oklahoma City vs San Antonio game. The current price indicates what a trader would pay to own a contract that pays out if the outcome occurs.
This market resolves around Oct 21, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the resolution will be based on official game statistics confirming whether a player from either the Oklahoma City Thunder or the San Antonio Spurs achieves a double-double – recording ten or more in two of the five statistical categories: points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocked shots – during the specified game. The official box score will serve as the determining factor for settlement.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. News regarding player injuries or changes to starting lineups for either the Oklahoma City Thunder or the San Antonio Spurs would likely have a significant impact. Unexpected performance trends from key players in recent games could also shift trader sentiment. Even pre-game analysis and expert predictions could cause fluctuations in the market as bettors react to new information. Any developments affecting the perceived probability of a double-double being achieved will likely be reflected in the price of this market.
