This market focuses on determining which team will score more points in a specific quarter of an upcoming college football game between Ohio State and Indiana. It provides a way to speculate on short-term performance during the game, rather than the final outcome.
The market resolves based on which team scores the most points during the third quarter of the Ohio State versus Indiana college football game scheduled for October 17, 2026. If Indiana scores more points in that quarter, the Indiana market resolves to Yes. If Ohio State scores more points, the Ohio State market resolves to Yes. If both teams score the same number of points, the Tie market resolves to Yes. Only points scored during the third quarter count toward resolution. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the market remains open and resolves based on the official result. If the game does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price. Kalshi is not affiliated with the NCAA, and all trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
On Kalshi, this market is priced using a continuous double auction. Traders set the odds by placing buy and sell orders for contracts representing each possible outcome. The price of a contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust dynamically, providing a real-time assessment of expectations for the Ohio State vs Indiana game. The current market reflects the collective judgment of those trading on Kalshi.
This market resolves around Oct 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the winner of the third quarter of the Ohio State vs Indiana game will determine the winning contract. The official game results, as reported by a trusted sports news source, will be used to determine the outcome. Traders who correctly predicted the third quarter winner will receive a payout based on the final market price at resolution.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding injuries to key players on either the Ohio State or Indiana teams would likely cause significant movement. Changes in team performance during the game itself, such as a dominant start by one team, will also impact prices. Unexpected weather conditions, or even significant shifts in public perception based on pre-game analysis, could also contribute to price fluctuations in this market. Keep an eye on sports news and game updates for potential catalysts.
