In the upcoming Ligue 1 game between OGC Nice and Stade Rennais FC 1901, scheduled for October 31, 2026 at 12:15 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the OGC Nice vs. Stade Rennais FC 1901 match originally scheduled for October 31, 2026 at 12:15 PM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to express their own probabilities based on available information. Discrepancies can arise due to differing levels of information, biases, or simply varying interpretations of the teams' strengths. It’s common to see this market adjust more rapidly to new information, such as team news or injuries, than sportsbook lines.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact first-half scores. The price of each share reflects the market's collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to find an equilibrium. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price movement is driven by supply and demand; increased buying pressure raises the price, while increased selling pressure lowers it, ultimately reflecting the aggregated forecast of all participants.
This market resolves around Oct 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official, final first-half score of the OGC Nice versus Stade Rennais FC 1901 match. The platform will verify the result against official sources to determine which share(s) will payout, and at what rate, based on the final score. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the shares they hold.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either OGC Nice or Stade Rennais FC 1901 would likely cause price fluctuations. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they favor one team's playing style, could also influence trading activity. Finally, any significant tactical announcements from either manager, or even early game events like a red card, could lead to shifts in the perceived probabilities and therefore move the market.
