This market centers on the outcome of the first map in an upcoming professional Dota 2 match between two top teams. The result depends solely on which team secures victory in that initial map during the competition. Any changes to the match schedule or cancellations will follow specific resolution guidelines.
The market resolves based on which team wins the first map of the PARI Universe 2026: OG vs. Team Liquid Dota 2 match scheduled for October 25, 2026, at 4:00 AM EDT. If OG wins map 1, its market resolves to Yes; if Team Liquid wins map 1, its market resolves to Yes. If the match or map is postponed beyond 48 hours, cancelled, or forfeited before play begins, both markets resolve to the fair market price. If a map begins and is later forfeited, the market resolves according to the official result declared by the governing body or tournament organizer. Kalshi is not affiliated with the governing league, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially differing from sportsbook odds which are set by professional oddsmakers. Sportsbooks may incorporate factors like public betting patterns and risk management strategies, while this market relies on individuals’ informed predictions. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before significant events or when new information emerges. Examining these differences can reveal insights into where the crowd believes the value lies compared to traditional bookmakers.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing the probability of each outcome. The price of a contract reflects the market’s current assessment of that outcome’s likelihood. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust dynamically, providing a real-time indication of market sentiment. The goal is for the contract prices to converge towards the true probability of each outcome as the event approaches.
This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the winner of Map 1 in the OG vs. Team Liquid match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official results declared by the tournament organizers. The platform will then determine the payout for winning contracts based on the final market price at the time of resolution. Traders holding contracts corresponding to the winning outcome will receive a payout, while those holding contracts for losing outcomes will not.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. News regarding player form, team strategies, or any unexpected roster changes for either OG or Team Liquid could significantly shift trader sentiment. Major upsets in other matches leading up to this one, or announcements about map pools, could also impact the odds. Even social media discussions and expert analysis can contribute to price movements as traders react to new information and adjust their predictions before Oct 25, 2026.
