On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, the price increases, indicating a higher perceived probability. Conversely, increased selling pressure lowers the price. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the collective intelligence of all participants.
This market resolves around Oct 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Obishchenko vs. Droshchynskyi match, as reported by the governing sports body. The platform will verify the data against established sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be paid out according to the final market price at resolution, while those holding shares in the losing outcome will forfeit their investment.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before Oct 11, 2026. News regarding player form, injuries, or changes in coaching strategy could all impact trader sentiment. Unexpected results in other matches involving these players, or broader shifts in public perception, could also drive price movements. Major upsets in related competitions or significant media coverage focusing on one player over the other could also shift the market. Any information that alters the perceived probability of either player winning is likely to be reflected in the trading activity.
