On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in whether Notts County or Oxford United will score first. As more shares are traded, the price of each share adjusts to reflect the collective probability assigned by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome. For example, a share priced at 60 means there is a 60% implied probability of that team scoring first. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date information.

Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, particularly to key attacking players, would likely cause significant shifts in the odds. Changes in team form, such as a recent winning or losing streak, could also impact trader sentiment. Pre-match analysis from football experts and updated team lineups released closer to kickoff are other catalysts. Unexpected weather conditions or even tactical changes announced by the managers could also move this market as traders react to new information and adjust their predictions.
