This group forecasts the total goals scored in the Nottingham Forest vs Manchester City Premier League match on November 7, 2026. Markets are offered for various over/under goal thresholds (0.5, 1.5, 2.5, etc.) and a separate market asks if there will be 3 or more goals scored.
The event resolves based on whether the total goals scored by both teams in the Nottingham Forest vs Manchester City professional EPL soccer match exceed specified thresholds. All markets consider only goals scored during the 90 minutes of regular play plus any stoppage time added by the referee, explicitly excluding goals from extra time or penalty shootouts. Each market corresponds to a different threshold (0.5, 1.5, 2.5, 3.5, 4.5, or 5.5 goals), with the market resolving to 'Yes' if the actual total exceeds that threshold. The governing rules emphasize that Kalshi is not affiliated with the league, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
This market will resolve to "YES" if the combined total number of goals scored by Nottingham Forest and Manchester City is 3 or higher during regular time (90 minutes plus stoppage time only) in the Premier League match scheduled for November 7, 2026, 17:30 UTC. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO." If the match is postponed, this market will remain open until the match has been completed. If the match is not completed as scheduled for any reason (for example, if it is abandoned, canceled, or awarded), and an official final result is recognized by the governing body or event organizers, this market will resolve based on that result. If no official final result is recognized and no make-up match is scheduled, this market will resolve "50-50." Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Prediction market odds, like those found on Kalshi and Limitless, often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market is driven by individuals incentivized to accurately forecast the outcome. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when public sentiment strongly deviates from expert opinion. It's common to see prediction markets incorporate information and adjust prices more quickly to new developments than sportsbooks, offering a dynamic comparison for informed decision-making.
This market resolves around Nov 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the total goals scored in the Nottingham Forest versus Manchester City match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score, as reported by official sources, will determine the outcome of this market. Traders will be able to see the verified result and the market will settle accordingly. It’s important to note that the official match result is the sole determinant, and any disputes regarding the score will be resolved based on those official records.
Several signals could impact the price of this market before Nov 8, 2026. Late-breaking news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Nottingham Forest or Manchester City would likely cause significant movement. Changes in weather conditions, such as heavy rain or strong winds, could also influence expectations about scoring. Furthermore, any tactical adjustments announced by the managers of either team could shift the perceived likelihood of a high- or low-scoring game. Unexpected news regarding team morale or internal conflicts could also affect trading activity in this market.
