In the upcoming match between Nottingham Forest FC and Manchester City FC, scheduled for November 7, 2026 at 12:30 PM ET: This market will resolve to "Nottingham Forest FC" if Nottingham Forest FC are the first to score in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time). This market will resolve to "Manchester City FC" if Manchester City FC are the first to score in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time). If neither team scores in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time), this market will resolve to "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to goals scored within the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time. First-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Premier League (https://www.premierleague.com/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their lines based on models and internal analysis, while this market is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. Generally, you'll find that prediction markets can be more accurate than traditional polls or even initial sportsbook offerings, especially as the event approaches and more volume is traded. However, discrepancies can occur due to differing risk appetites and information access.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in whether Manchester City or Nottingham Forest will score first in the second half. As more shares are traded, the price of each share adjusts to reflect the collective probability assigned by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring; a share priced at 60 represents a 60% chance of that team scoring first. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the latest information and sentiment.
This market resolves around Nov 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on which team, if any, scores the first goal of the second half in the Nottingham Forest vs. Manchester City match. If neither team scores in the second half, the market will resolve as ‘No Goal Scored’. The result will be based on official match data and verified against credible public sources, ensuring an objective and transparent outcome for all traders.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Manchester City or Nottingham Forest would likely cause significant movement. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions could also shift trader sentiment. Furthermore, pre-match analysis from reputable sports commentators and any unexpected announcements related to the match could all contribute to fluctuations in the price of shares until the market resolves on Nov 7, 2026. Keep an eye on these factors to understand potential shifts in this market.
