In the upcoming Premier League game between Nottingham Forest FC and Manchester City FC, scheduled for November 7, 2026 at 12:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the Nottingham Forest FC vs. Manchester City FC match originally scheduled for November 7, 2026 at 12:30 PM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Premier League (https://www.premierleague.com/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on expert analysis and incorporate a margin for profit, while this market allows traders to express their own beliefs about the probability of each exact first-half score. Discrepancies can arise due to differing opinions, information available to traders, or simply variations in how risk is assessed. It’s common to see prediction markets move more efficiently as new information becomes available, potentially offering value compared to fixed sportsbook lines.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing different possible outcomes. The price of each share reflects the market's collective belief about the probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the prices adjust dynamically, providing a real-time assessment of the likelihood of each exact first-half score. The current volume indicates the level of interest and conviction behind each potential result.
This market resolves around Nov 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Several factors could influence trading activity in this market leading up to Nov 7, 2026. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Manchester City or Nottingham Forest would likely cause significant shifts in the odds. Tactical announcements from either manager, such as confirmed starting lineups or changes in formation, could also impact trader sentiment. Even weather conditions on match day, or unexpected pre-match commentary from football analysts, could contribute to price movements in this market.
